Summer Construction Road Closures

This summer there will be three campus roadway improvement projects to be aware of on main campus.

• Brick crosswalk replacements and reconstruction of the plaza in University Place. This will close University Place from the Q-2 Lot to South Crouse Ave. from May 13 to June 10.
• A new steam main and rebuild of the south end of College Place. This project will take place from May 13 to Aug. 16, in two phases. In the first phase, only College Place will be closed while the work on University Place occurs. When the University Place work is completed, the second phase will keep College Place closed and also close Euclid Avenue at Sims Drive. Sims Drive will remain accessible to local traffic from the west. A temporary access to the Q-4 Lot from Comstock Avenue will allow continuous use of the Q-4 Lot, and the main campus bus stop on College Place will be temporarily relocated to the Center for Science and Technology-Life Sciences Complex East Entry on Comstock Avenue.
• A project to install the Dineen Hall Steam and Electrical Services and maintenance on the Irving Avenue Garage pedestrian bridge. This work will require the closure of Irving Avenue from Raynor Avenue to just south of the Veterans Administration Hospital Garage from May 13 to July 12.
