Survey Will Gauge Interest in Downtown Housing among Graduate Students, Faculty

The James D. Kuhn Real Estate Center in Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management and UPSTATE: A Center for Design, Research and Real Estate is inviting Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry graduate students and faculty members to participate in a survey on the demand for graduate student and faculty housing in downtown Syracuse.

The feedback garnered from this survey will help identify whether sufficient demand for housing for graduate students and faculty exists, if such housing is located in downtown Syracuse, and to understand housing choice factors.

“The survey is intended to gauge interest within a specific segment of the campus population in housing located downtown,” says Marc Norman, director of UPSTATE: A Center for Design, Research and Real Estate in the School of Architecture. “It will help the University in thinking about its housing strategy, and help developers in planning new projects.”

Responses are confidential and will only be analyzed at the aggregate level.

Surveys should be completed by April 30.
