Summer upgrades for 2013 will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. In order to be considered for an upgrade, you must email Lanita Oliver at ljoliver@syr.edu no sooner than April 15 at 12:01 a.m. All requests will be processed in the order in which they are received. Any requests received before the above-mentioned date will be considered void and discarded without notification. Please include your current plate, make, model, color and year of vehicle at the time of request.
Due to construction and road closures, only a limited number of spaces in the following lots/garages will be available; Booth Garage, Harrison, Hillside, Irving garage, Lehman, Marion, Ostrom, Q1, University Avenue Garage and Waverly. You will be asked to re-locate for short periods of time if general maintenance needs to be performed at the location to which you have upgraded.
Those looking to upgrade to a Quad lot will need five years of service with the University to qualify. Meeting the qualification does not guarantee a space.
Only individuals who currently have a valid 2012-2013 permit are eligible to upgrade.
The upgrade fee is $30 for surface lots and $35 for garages plus an additional $45 refundable fee for prox cards for secure areas. Citations and upgrade fees must be paid in full by check or credit card before the permit will be issued. Spaces can not be held for any reason.
