WCG’s Chuck Hemann Will Visit Newhouse, Discuss Big Data and Analytics

hemannHow do Red Bull, the Hershey Co. and Intel turn big data into competitive advantage? Join Chuck Hemann, group director of analytics for WCG, on Wednesday, March 20, as he discusses how companies turn big data into actionable insights about their audiences. His talk will be held at 6 p.m. in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3. Follow on Twitter via #NewhouseGLDSM.

At WCG, Hemann provides strategic counsel to clients in a variety of areas, including digital analytics, measurement, online reputation, social media, investor relations and crisis communications. He also works closely with the firm’s client teams to provide solutions for reputation and organizational excellence.

Prior to joining WCG, Hemann was vice president of digital analytics for Edelman Digital. He previously served as vice president of digital strategy and analytics for Ogilvy Public Relations. He began his career at Dix & Eaton, where he handled research and served as co-chair of the digital communications practice.

He is co-author of the forthcoming “Digital Marketing Analytics: Making Sense of Consumer Data in a Digital World.”

His talk is part of the Newhouse Global Leaders in Digital and Social Media Speaker Series, which explores innovative digital and social media engagement from around the world. Speakers represent leadership in thought and innovation in their fields.
