University Wellness Initiative Announces Free Healthy Cooking Class for Faculty and Staff
Looking for helpful tips on how to cook healthy and tasty appetizers for your family and friends? Interested in being more mindful with your menu choices and preparation? Join Chef Mary Kiernan on Monday, April 15, for a mindful cooking demonstration and tasting. In 2000, Chef Kiernan came to Syracuse University to work in Carrier Dome Catering, where she managed 42 private suites and numerous other functions related to games and floor dinners. She became a food and beverage instructor in Hospitality Management in 2007 and is currently studying toward her iMBA in the Whitman School of Management. Kiernan is also president of the Syracuse chapter of the American Culinary Federation.
