ftdrumThe SU Student Veterans Organization is adopting a platoon from the 10th Mountain Division in Fort Drum. The platoon is made up of 30-35 dedicated people who put their life on the line in conditions most of us would find intolerable. When our service men and women are deployed so far away, a care package from home can make all the difference in the world.
The collection drive will take place through March 29. Items can be dropped off at University College from 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday through Friday.

We ask that you donate these simple items that can make a big difference in their lives:

Baby wipes
Baby powder
Sun Screen
Chap stick,
Sample-size hotel products
Granola bars
Trail mix
Beef jerky
Ramen noodles
Instant Mac-n-Cheese
Powdered flavor packs to add to water (gator aid, crystal lite etc …)
White socks
Feminine products
Toothpaste
shower supplies
Vitamins
Pens
Notebooks
Journals
Magazines

Our Platoon is: Alpha Company
2nd Battalion
22nd Infantry Regiment
1st Brigade
10th Mountain Division
