Joey Bada$$ to Headline UU’s Bandersnatch Music Series

badassRapper Joey Bada$$ will headline the first Bandersnatch show of the semester, hosted by University Union, on Tuesday, March 5, in the Schine Underground. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m., with music to start at 8 p.m. An opener will be announced at a later date.

Joey Bada$$, 20, is an independent rapper and producer from Brooklyn. His debut mixtape, “1999,” dropped in June 2012 to critical acclaim. Complex Magazine named it the 38th best album of 2012. His follow-up, “Rejex,” was released in September 2012. Joey Bada$$ is also a member of the hip hop collective Pro.Era, with whom he released two mixtapes, “The Secc$ Tape” and “P.E.E.P: The aPROcalypse.” He has collaborated with Mac Miller and appears on A$AP Rocky’s album “Long.Live.ASAP.” Joey Bada$$’s debut album is due out this year.

Tickets are available for purchase at the Schine Student Center Box Office. Ticket sales are open to all SU and SUNY-ESF students and staff for $5, with a limit of four tickets per person. A valid college or staff I.D. will be required to purchase tickets and to get in the day of the show.
