SU News wants to get to the heart of our academic life. We’ll share what students are experiencing in their classrooms and what makes an SU education so compelling. This “In Class” series taps into the learning, the ideas and the people who help bring both to life—one class a time.

The biggest sports spectacle on earth goes under the microscope in SPM 199, “The Super Bowl and Society.” Professor Dennis Deninger brings his personal insight and experience as a television producer to help students “explore the evolution and strategic brilliance that has allowed a football game to become a social phenomenon with international audiences, business impact and cultural implications.”

We’re “In Class” for the first day, to give a taste of what this course is all about.
