The Office of Engagement Programs in Syracuse University’s Hendricks Chapel is sponsoring a blanket drive now through Feb. 8 to assist people in need in the community this winter season.

Donations of new or gently used blankets can be made in the Office of Engagement Programs or the Hendricks Chapel Dean’s Office. Both are located on the lower level of the chapel. Donations of four yards of fleece or funds to help purchase fleece will also be accepted.

The fleece will be used during a Cut-and-Tie Blanket Party on Friday, Feb. 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Hendricks Chapel Noble Room.  Members of the SU community are invited to come and help create blankets. Lunch will be served.

For more information, contact the Office of Engagement Programs at 443-1254 or engagesu@syr.edu.
