orangeafterdarkOrange After Dark is a series of late-night programs and events for Syracuse University students sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs. Orange After Dark events begin after 10 p.m. and serve as fun, creative and alternative programming that enhances the total college experience. A sneak preview of the spring Orange After Dark lineup, hosted by the signature Orange After Dark man, can be found here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5NTLbzakZk

The semester-long programming kicks off this Saturday, Jan. 19, with Cosmic Bowling at Strike-N-Spare Lanes. Cosmic Bowling is glow-in-the-dark bowling with a dance club atmosphere, such as a light show and fog machine, as well as music that keeps the alleys rockin’. The price of the event is $3 for students with a valid SU I.D. The cost includes round-trip bus transportation, shoe rental, food and bowling. Tickets are available at the Schine Box Office. Buses will depart at 10:30 p.m. from Schine and Goldstein Student Centers. See the commercial for it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVNeQrd23Sc&list=PL5A9CD4DB2338C7F4&index=2

The next two upcoming events are snow tubing at Greek Peak on Jan. 26 and a trip to Destiny USA on Feb. 7 to see the film “Identity Thief.”

Details about these upcoming events and future events can be found on the Orange After Dark Web site: oad.syr.edu.
