SU Counseling Center offers free stress reduction class for students

The Syracuse University Counseling Center is offering a free course in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to
SU and SUNY-ESF students. The eight-week course meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m., beginning Feb. 6. The program introduces participants to mindfulness meditation practices and their application to everyday life. More specifically, the course is designed to teach students how to access inner resources that improve their ability to cope effectively with the stresses of school, work and personal life.

Further information and registration for the program will be offered at the mandatory orientation/screening sessions. You can meet the instructor and register for the class at one of the following three sessions being held at the SU Counseling Center at 200 Walnut Place:

Wednesday,Jan. 16, 6-7 p.m.
Wednesday,Jan. 23, 6-7 p.m.
Wednesday,Jan. 30, 6-7 p.m.
