Nike global communications planning director to visit Newhouse Nov. 26
Daniel Sheniak ’96, group media director at Wieden + Kennedy (W+K), will visit the Newhouse School on Monday, Nov. 26. Sheniak, who serves as global communications planning director for Nike, will speak at 6:30 p.m. in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3.

Sheniak started his advertising career at W+K in 1996 after graduating from SU with a dual degree in advertising and marketing from Newhouse and the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. He has been on the Nike account for his entire tenure with W+K. His passion for creativity has shaped the Nike account and helped turn it into the global integrated communications team it is today. He says for him, the most exciting thing about advertising is “making brands mean something to people.”
