Innovation Trail and the Post-Standard reported on Syracuse University winning nearly $1.9 million in federal economic development funds support a business accelerator at the University for small and medium-sized manufacturers in the field of thermal and environmental control systems.

Small Business Advisor, on returning veterans pursuing entrepreneurship post-service features the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) program, founded at the Whitman School in 2007 and operated by the Institute for Veterans and Military Families. EBV-UConn graduate Ed Young is profiled on his entrepreneurial journey after his military career. The article also quotes EBV-UConn executive director Michael Zacchea on Young’s success. Also, The Street and The Herald (San Diego), reported on a entrepreneurship and small business management symposium hosted by corporate partner Humana in partnership with the EBV in San Diego.
