As you all may know October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! The ladies of The National Association of Negro
Business and Professional Women’s Club Inc., in collaboration with Rebecca Lee Pre-health Society, will be making a Bra Chain. A Bra Chain is made up of several different bras donated by women attached together in a chain-like fashion. We are asking women all over campus, including faculty members and students, to donate their unwanted bras on Oct. 9, 10, and 11 in Schine Student Center or Life Sciences Atrium. Creating a bra chain is a fun way to raise awareness about breast cancer and breast cancer research. This fundraiser allows all women to participate and come together to fight against breast cancer. We would like to involve as many women as possible here at SU in order to honor women who fought a good battle, women who are fighting a good battle and women who survived & won the battle! All bras will be donated following the event.
