Source Marketing managing partner and advertising alumnus Rich Feldman ’81 to visit the Newhouse School Oct. 3

Rich Feldman ’81 (@ShmergleMan), managing partner of Source Marketing, will visit Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications on Wednesday, Oct. 3, as a guest of the Eric Mower Advertising Forum. He will speak at 6:30 p.m. in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3. feldmanSource Marketing is an integrated marketing services firm headquartered in Norwalk, Conn., with 135 employees at five locations. The company is part of the MDC Partners network, whose companies include Crispin Porter Bogusky, Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners, 72andsunny and Anomaly. Feldman is chief strategic officer for the company, leading its direct response practice.

He brings to the job more than 25 years of experience architecting programs for many of the world’s leading brands, including IBM, JPMorgan Chase, Capital Group Companies, Time Warner Cable, LivingSocial, Philips, Panasonic, Nintendo, Alcon, Pfizer, HBO and Rosetta Stone. He is credited with designing IBM’s first worldwide relationship marketing program—Gold Service—and launching the strategic consulting practice for Brann Worldwide (now Euro RSCG). He has also served as executive vice president and creative director at Blau Marketing Technologies and creative director at Y&R/Chapman.

He is author of “Deconstructing Creative Strategy.”
