Asian Age and Medical Daily reported on the recent findings by a team of researchers in The College of Arts and Sciences that found in the sperm competition of fruit flies (Drosophila melanogaster), slower and/or longer sperm outcompete their faster rivals in egg fertilization. The team was led by Stefan Lüpold, a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Biology.

CNN.com reported on the “Meatless Monday” campaign—a project of Syracuse University, Johns Hopkins University, and Columbia University—and its positive effect on global resources.

David Cay Johnston, distinguished visiting lecturer in the College of Law, appeared on MSNBC’s “Last Word” with Lawrence O’Donnell on Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s tax history.
