On My Own Time is an opportunity for Syracuse University employees to share their artistic talents and creativity in a variety of media with the campus and larger community. This year, 31 faculty and staff members have entered a total of 73 pieces of art in the exhibition. The artwork is on view from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. through May 17 in the Noble Room of Hendricks Chapel.

Visitors to the exhibition in Hendricks and viewers of the virtual version online will be able to vote for their favorite piece as “Best in Show,” to be determined by a vote count at the close of the exhibition. The link above will take you to the web page where you can view the slideshow of the exhibition and vote. All the artwork on display also will be judged by a panel of professional artists from the Cultural Resources Council. Pieces selected by the CRC panel will be included in a public exhibition at the Everson Museum in the fall.
