Kidfest 2012: Get involved for our 22nd annual event

Dear Student Leaders:
April 20 will mark the 22nd annual Kidfest at Syracuse University. Through the work of dedicated SU student groups, excited community-based organizations and generous local business donors, the Syracuse University Volunteer Organization (SUVO) has made this annual carnival for the children of the Syracuse community an SU tradition
that keeps growing!

To achieve this goal, we need your help. The 22nd annual Kidfest will be on Friday, April 20, from 3-5 p.m. at Flanagan Gymnasium.

Interested? Here’s the deal:

SUVO has begun planning for this event and now needs volunteers to make it a success. We’re inviting your organization to coordinate a carnival booth or activity at Kidfest. Get creative, think like a kid, and let your imagination run wild. In the past, activities have included dance lessons, balloon animals, slime making, hula hoop
contests, face painting, jewelry making, and more. On the day of Kidfest, we ask that a maximum of 5 people be present to supervise your activity. Each volunteer will receive a free Kidfest volunteer T-shirt.

For more information about Kidfest or to sign up your organization, please send us an email at shawcenter@syr.edu, and we’ll work with you to finalize your involvement with this fantastic event!
