Volunteers needed for study on type 2 diabetes

If you or your partner has diabetes, you may be eligible to participate in an Upstate research study.  Researchers at the Department of Psychiatry are conducting a research study of a telephone intervention for patients with type 2 diabetes and their spouses/partners.  All patients will participate in diabetes education provided by a diabetes educator over the phone.  These phone sessions will focus on helping you manage the diabetes and make recommended diet and activity changes.  You will either work individually or together with your partner.  All couples will receive payment for research assessments.  Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
