Friday, April 13, is the registration deadline for Syracuse University faculty and staff who want to enter their artwork in the annual On My Own Time exhibit. Co-sponsored by the Cultural Resources Council of Syracuse and Onondaga County and the Everson Museum of Art, OMOT provides an opportunity for workplaces to celebrate the artistic creativity of their employees.
Any SU employee is welcome to submit multiple works in a variety of media. Artwork will be featured in an exhibit April 27–May 17 in the Noble Room of Hendricks Chapel. Work selected by a panel of professional artists from the Cultural Resources Council will be included in a public exhibit at the Everson Museum this fall.
Criteria for submission and the registration form are available on the HR website. Art instructors may not submit work in their primary discipline. All pieces must be gallery-ready by April 26.
