Faculty and staff volunteers needed for Mayfest April 27
Dear Faculty and Staff,
The students’ spring tradition, Mayfest, will be taking place on Friday, April 27 from 1-6 p.m. in Walnut Park, and we need your help to make it a success. This student-only event is a highlight of the spring semester and the way in which faculty and staff are able to participate in the festivities is to volunteer. Plus, you’ll get a free meal!
We are in need of 15 volunteers per shift:
(1) 12:15 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
(2) 3 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
We need volunteer support in the following ways:
(1) Distributors of bracelets at designated entrances for students who have already had their age verified.
(2) Volunteers whom will walk the entrance lines to ensure that students have tickets and are in the correct line
(3) Problem solvers whom will assist at the ID Card Services tent.
If you are able to volunteer, please send an email to Bill Longcore at email@example.com indicating the shift(s) for which you are available. In addition, please provide your t-shirt size.
Volunteers need to be able to arrive promptly at the start of their shift.
An orientation meeting for volunteers will take place on Thursday morning, 11am, April 26, in 228A of the Schine Student Center.
Thank you in advance for your support!
