On Monday, April 2, the Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion (lernercenter.syr.edu) will kick off National Public Health Week with Healthy Monday Syracuse events on campus.
The signature event will be a free lunch and learn with Lisa Thomas, RD, dietician with Health Services, who will speak about nutrition as prevention. The talk will be held in Hall of Languages 500 from noon-2 p.m. The meal will feature Meatless Monday entrees. Prior to that there will be a larger free yoga session at 10 a.m (in HL 500) and at 11 a.m. the Healthy Monday Syracuse team will lead a Monday Mile walk or run, beginning outside the Hall of Languages.
All of the events are free. RSVPs are required only for the lunch (please RSVP to healthymonday@syr.edu).
