Visit the Schine Student Center Atrium 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8, for Study Abroad Day. Learn about programs and speak with counselors about the application process and financial aid, including merit-based scholarships and grants for study in specific countries. SU Abroad alumni will be available to share their perspectives, advice and stories.

“Studying abroad was an amazing way to learn in unconventional ways that gave me a break from standard classroom settings,” says sophomore Briana Rinaldo, who studied in Florence, Italy in Fall 2010. “You also learn so much more about yourself and your place the world than you would in any normal classroom here – I wouldn’t trade my experience with anything.”

SU Abroad has semester, summer and short-term programs with academic and cultural opportunities around the world. For more information, visit http://suabroad.syr.edu.
