YouTube Fails In Its Fight Against Disinformation
Jennifer Grygiel, assistant professor of communications in the Newhouse School, was quoted in the Pro Publica article “YouTube Promised to Label State-Sponsored Videos But Doesn’t Always Do So.”
Lee Doyle, managing partner of GroupM, will visit the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications on Monday, Jan. 30, as a guest of the Eric Mower Advertising Forum. Doyle has spent his career providing media insights and developing media strategies for some of the biggest, most sophisticated marketers in the United States, including AT&T, Campbell’s, Colgate, Dell Computers, General Motors, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft, Macy’s, Netflix, Novartis, Paramount Pictures and Unilever.
He spent the last 12 years at MEC, at leading media investment management agency. He served as CEO, North America, for MEC from 2007-11, during which time the agency grew by more than 40 percent and was named Media Agency of the Year twice by Advertising Age and Ad Week.
Prior to his time at MEC, Doyle ran the media operations of Ammirati Puris Lintas. He started his career at DMB&B (now MediaVest), eventually becoming senior vice president.
