SU employees need to acknowledge pay notices online through MySlice

Tuesday, January 3, 2012, By News Staff
Share

All Syracuse University employees are asked to view and acknowledge their pay notices online through MySlice between Jan. 9 and Jan. 25. This includes all faculty, staff, temporary employees, graduate assistants and student employees.

The annual notification is a new requirement under New York State’s Wage Theft Prevention Act. Even those employees hired during the previous year who completed the wage notification process at that time are required to participate in the annual process each January.

Fortunately, it is easy to do. Beginning Jan. 9:

  • Sign on to MySlice, click on “View My Pay Notice” and follow the instructions to complete the simple, three-step process.
  • It is critical that all employees acknowledge their pay notices by Jan. 25, but all are encouraged to do so earlier.

Again, pay notices will be available on MySlice starting Jan. 9. All employees will receive an e-mail reminder on that date, plus weekly reminders until they acknowledge their pay notices.

If there are questions, please contact the Human Resources Service Center at hrservic@syr.edu or x4042.
