Second annual Scrabble Tournament

Here’s your chance to challenge your friends face-to-face! The SU Literacy Corps, with the support of the University Bookstore, is hosting its 2nd Annual Scrabble Tournament on Feb. 9, 2012, from 5:30- 8:30 p.m. in Schine 304ABC.

Enrollment is limited, so sign up now to make sure you can play! Register by Dec. 9 in the Literacy Corps Office (Schine 237); $10 for individuals or $30 for a team of 4! The grand prize winner will advance to the Literacy Volunteers of Greater Syracuse (LVGS) Annual City-Wide Scrabble Tournament. There will be fun prizes so make sure you get all your friends involved too! All proceeds from the Scrabble Tournament go to First Book, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing new books to children in need.

Help spread the love of literacy and have fun doing it! Mark your calendars for Literacy Corps’ 2nd Annual Scrabble Tournament! For more information please contact the SU Literacy Corps at literacy@syr.edu or 315-443-3051.
