The Jack Reilly Institute for Early Childhood and Provider Education, in collaboration with Child Care Solutions, Inc., will sponsor a free workshop for child care providers on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Drumlins from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
“Children’s Physical Safety and Health for Child Care Providers,” is this year’s annual workshop in an innovative series for home- and center-based child care providers covering a broad range of early childhood education topics. These workshops are brought to the community by the Jack Reilly Institute for Early Childhood and Provider Education in the Department of Child and Family Studies, David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics.
The Nov. 5 program will feature a lecture and break-out sessions where participants will share ideas with experts in the child care education field. The Jack Reilly Institute and Child Care Solutions will provide information on additional workshops and training programs.
Free parking and lunch will be provided to program participants. The workshop will offer four Continuing Education Credits (training categories: Principles of Child Development; Physical Safety, Health and Security).
