Newhouse partners with IABC, PRIME Research to present Global Strategic Communication and Measurement Conference in NYC

Leading communication professionals from around the world will gather in New York City Nov. 2-4 for the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and PRIME Research Global Strategic Communication and Measurement Conference. The S.I.Newhouse School of Public Communications’ Department of Public Relations and Executive Education Program in Communications Management are major sponsors of the event. Featuring senior global communication and public relations executives from organizations like PepsiCo, IBM, Pfizer, Audi, Unicredit S.p.A., CEMEX and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and communication legends James and Larissa Grunig, the conference brings together senior communication professionals for two days of thought provoking discussions and interactions. The conference kicks off with a half-day pre-conference workshop on Nov. 2 at Syracuse University’s Lubin House, followed by two days of in-depth sessions and presentations at the Yale Club of New York.

Conference speakers include Mark Weiner, CEO of PRIME Research North America; Julie Hamp, senior vice president and chief communications officer with PepsiCo Inc.; Shannon Bowen, Newhouse associate professor of public relations; Alex Haddad, senior manager of corporate and colleague communications analytics with Pfizer; Jose Luis Perez Aguirre, international media relations adviser with CEMEX; Fred Funderburk, director of research at CMS; Adam Burns, senior vice president of strategic planning and research with Porter Novelli; Matthew Broder, vice president of external communication with Pitney Bowes; Maurizio Baretta, head of identity and communications with Unicredit S.p.A.; Pauline Draper-Watts, senior vice president with PRIME Research; Kevin Bishop, vice president with IBM; and more.
