The Whitman School of Management’s Career Center continues to find ways to meet the unique interests of students. From Career Madness to corporate office hours, Whitman students have a myriad of resources and services available to help them prepare for a business career search.

The center recently added to its career advising program by appointing four Whitman seniors as career assistants. These students have interned with nationally recognized businesses, held leadership positions on campus and have the know-how to get a job in their career interest area. Career assistants are available to discuss resumes and how they fit an individual’s career path, assist in writing cover letters and interview preparation. They are:

  • Jared Diamond, a finance major, who has worked with the global investments company Bridgewater Associates, and the boutique investment banking firm Grail Partners;
  • Jillian Galello, a retail and marketing management double major, who has interned as a planning and allocation intern at TJX Companies;
  • Gianna Migliaccio, an accounting major who has completed two accounting internships at C.V. Starr & Co. and Elizabeth Arden; and will work with McGladrey as she transitions into her MS accounting program; and
  • Jorie Richlin-Zack, a supply chain management major, who has interned at Pratt & Whitney, and completed a summer internship with Elizabeth Arden.

Whitman students can make an appointment to meet with one of the new career assistants, or stop by during their office hours. For more information, contact the Whitman Career Center at 315-443-4140.
