Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the Newhouse School, is quoted in the BBC on the passing AC Nielsen Jr. Nielson was the head of the ACNielsen company, which analyzed the way Americans watched TV for more than 50 years.
