The Parents Office is seeking volunteers to work with us on Family Weekend 2011. As Syracuse University Parents Office Volunteers, you will greet and assist parents and families of students as they register, pick up information, and enjoy refreshments. It is
a very rewarding experience and parents and families are very appreciative of the effort.
Volunteers are needed at the Parents Place Hospitality Suite, located in the Panasci Lounge and Room 304 of the Schine Student Center from noon-7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, and from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22. We are in most need of volunteers from 12:30 p.m.-3 p.m. on Friday, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday.
If you are willing and able to assist our office on Oct. 21 or 22, please send an e-mail to parents@syr.edu no later than Oct. 12, indicating your availability for one or more of the available shifts (approximately 6 to 8 people are needed per shift).
