Harris joins Whitman as career development coordinator

Amber Harris of Syracuse has joined the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University as a career development coordinator. She will be working in the Whitman Career Center to create and implement career education programs for undergraduate and master’s students, as well as offering career counseling.

harrisamberHarris most recently served as an admissions counselor at Ithaca College. Prior to working in higher education, she was a family therapist at Cayuga Home for Children, where she spent five years counseling families with at-risk youth.

An active alumnae adviser for the New York chapter of Pi Beta Phi at SU, Harris holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Lewis & Clark College and a bachelor’s degree in psychological sciences from Montana State University.
