The Department of Earth Sciences presents the fall 2011 K. Douglas Nelson Lecture Series, this week featuring Dr. Paul Tomascak from SUNY Oswego. His title “Comedy and Tragedy in the New England Appalachians: The Sebago Pluton Story” The lecture will be
on Thursday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m. in room 113, Heroy Geology Lab; refreshments will be served. Anyone wishing to meet with Dr. Paul Tomascak can contact his hosts, Professor Scott Samson & Professor Gregory Hoke. The University community and public are welcome to attend.
