David Sedaris, one of America’s pre-eminent humor writers, will visit Syracuse University on Tuesday, Oct. 11, as part of the University Lectures series.
“An Evening with David Sedaris” will begin at 6 p.m. in the Goldstein Auditorium, located in the Schine Student Center. The event is free and open to the public, but free tickets are required. Tickets (limit two per person) will be available at the Schine Student Center Box Office beginning Monday, Sept. 12. For more information, contact the Schine Box Office at 443-4517.
On the evening of the lecture, doors will open at 5 p.m. Ticketholders must be seated by 5:30 p.m. Tickets will be invalid after 5:30 p.m. and the auditorium will be opened to general seating. Photography will be not allowed inside the auditorium.
Sedaris will sign books following the lecture; books will be available at the lecture for purchase from the SU Bookstore.
