U.S. News & World Report highlights the Whitman School of Management as being among the least expensive private business schools in the country.
A Marketwatch article on JPMorgan Chase’s support of veterans highlighted the recently created Institute for Veterans and Military Families at SU.
Syracuse University is featured in the Summer 2011 Independent Sector magazine, published by the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities. Among the highlights is an article on SU’s Office of Engagement Program’s “smART” after-school program, offering hands-on, interdisciplinary learning for students at Syracuse’s Grant Middle School. Additionally, Independent Sector highlighted the charrette made up of cross-disciplinary teams of SU students majoring in advertising design, fashion design, industrial and interaction design and interior design. The intense design project was facilitated by COLAB, the College of Visual and Performing Arts’ interdisciplinary initiative.
