A front-page Post-Standard feature highlighted the business revitalization on South Salina Street in Syracuse, a result of collaborative efforts by Syracuse University, The Southside Coalition, and Home HeadQuarters.
The Post-Standard reported on SU’s participation in a program to send nearly about 5,000 textbooks to John Garang Memorial University of Science and Technology in Bor, South Sudan.

David Cay Johnston, distinguished visiting lecturer in the College of Law, is quoted in Salon.com on the effective tax rate for the biggest U.S. corporations.
Alejandro Amezcua, a post-doctoral fellow in the Whitman School of Management, was quoted in the spring issue of Venture Capital Journal on the burgeoning trend of startup incubators and their effect on venture investment strategies.
Horace Campbell, professor of African American Studies and political science in The College of Arts and Sciences and Maxwell School, published a column in Sowetan on the cultural impact and legacy of Bob Marley.
