It’s not too late to sign up to host an information table at this year’s Strawberry Festival

The 2011 Strawberry Festival promises to be better than ever! This year’s event will be student-centered and offer music, inflatable pony relay races, a farmers market, the annual Strawberry Fun Run and Walk and picnic food, including the famous strawberry sundaes and shortcake! Sign up for the Fun Run and be eligible to win great prizes, including SU sweatshirts, football tickets, T-shirts and more.

The Strawberry Festival is a tradition that offers students, faculty and staff an opportunity to learn about the many services provided by campus departments and offices. The event is scheduled for Friday, June 10, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on the Quad.

• The farmers market will run from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Registration for the Fun Run / Walk will begin at 11:30 a.m. on the Quad. The race begins at noon. Advanced registration is available online now at: http://recreationservices.syr.edu/recstore/
• Games and other contests will be held throughout the event.

Sign up now to host a table in the service tent. Please submit a completed Strawberry Festival reservation form to Recreation Services by June 3. The form is located at http://recreationservices.syr.edu.
