WRVO interviewed filmmaker Gerardine Wurzburg, who will receive an honorary degree Sunday at Syracuse University’s 157th Commencement. Wurzburg discussed how she and Douglas Biklen, dean of the School of Education, conceived and co-produced the documentary “Wretches and Jabberers,” about the travels of disability rights advocates Tracy Thresher and Larry Bissonnette. Wurzburg will teach a MayMester course, “Documentary Films in Education: The Director’s Cut.”
