Jane’s Walk 2011 promotes walkable communities
The Environmental Finance Center will host Jane’s Walk 2011 on Saturday, May 7, beginning at 10 a.m.
Jane’s Walk is a walking tour that takes place in more than 60 cities to promote walkable communities. The route in Syracuse will start at the SyracuseCoE headquarters, 727 E. Washington St., and travel through Hanover Square, Clinton Square, Armory Square, Columbus Circle, Forman Park, and back, including stops at a number of cultural, historical and commercial locations.
The EFC welcomes community members, students, professors, neighborhood representatives and citizens to join this important dialogue about walkable communities.
Parking is available on Almond Street, across from the CoE headquarters building.
