Paper crane building today on the Quad for Japan earthquake relief
Today, from 1-5 p.m. on the Kenneth A. Shaw Quad, 15 student organizations and all of the Greek houses have been invited to make orange paper cranes. Each crane will generate $4–$2 from the students, $2 matching donations from the alumni. The completed cranes are being displayed on the lawn between the Schine Student Center and Newhouse School to create a visual registration of how much earthquake relief funding has been generated through Project Paper Crane.
