The documentary “Wretches and Jabberers” about the travels of disability rights advocates Tracy Thresher and Larry Bissonnette, co-produced by Douglas Biklen, dean of the School of Education at Syracuse University, was featured and reviewed by the New York Times, Hollywood Reporter, The Examiner, Variety and PRI. A Parade.com interview with Biklen and filmmaker Gerardine Wurzburg about “Wretches and Jabberers” accompanied Parade magazine’s Sunday print feature on living with autism.
SU’s Cold Case Justice Initiative is cited in a Los Angeles Times article on the investigation into the Civil Rights-era death of Ferriday, La. shoe shop owner Frank Morris, pursued by journalist Stanley Nelson and the Concordia Sentinel. The article was also republished in the Huffington Post and appeared on the KSPR (Springfield, Mo.) “On the Media” program.

A feature in the El Paso Times on the publication of the new El Paso Museum of Arts catalog for its European art collection notes Syracuse University as a contributing institution for essays in the catalog. “European Treasures from the El Paso Museum of Art” was created in celebration of the 50th anniversary of artwork donations from the Samuel H.
