A feature in the El Paso Times on the publication of the new El Paso Museum of Arts catalog for its European art collection notes Syracuse University as a contributing institution for essays in the catalog. “European Treasures from the El Paso Museum of Art” was created in celebration of the 50th anniversary of artwork donations from the Samuel H. Kress Foundation collection to the museum.

Also, Johnston authored a Tax.com column about Oregon state finances being derived more from lottery revenues than from corporate income taxes. The column was also cited in an AmericaBlog posting.
