The Syracuse University Residence Hall Association (RHA) will hold a “Go Green for Sustainability” event Friday, March 25, from 1-5 p.m. on the Quad. This event is being held to increase the University community’s awareness about sustainability on campus. Stop by to win prizes, such as compact florescent light (CFL) bulbs, reusable water bottles and rechargeable batteries.
A variety of literature, trivia and recycling tips will also be available. These include educational material on best practices, as well as some fun facts about the impact that everyone has on the environment. All participants will be entered into a raffle to win a sustainable gift basket. SU’s Sustainability Division is helping to support RHA’s efforts to promote sustainability by donating water bottles and stickers to give away.
In the event of rain, “Go Green for Sustainability” will be held in the Schine Student Center’s Goldstein Atrium.
