Wednesday, March 16, 2011, By News Staff
Share

University Place between Crouse Drive and College Place will be closed from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., Thursday, March 17, with a rain date of Friday, March 18.

The road closure will allow a crane to replace an elevator at E.S. Bird Library.

All Centro city buses, including the #240 Nob Hill, #340 Drumlins and #530 Westcott will operate via Waverly Avenue at this time. The campus Quad Shuttle will also use Waverly Avenue instead of University Place. All buses that normally operate to College Place will continue to operate to College Place at this time.

The Q-5 parking lot will be accessible from Comstock Avenue and University Place, and the Q-2 lot from South Crouse Avenue and University Place. Pedestrian traffic will be directed to the south side of University Place.
