Chancellor Nancy Cantor is highlighted in a Diverse: Issues in Higher Education article for receiving the 2011 Reginald Wilson Diversity Leadership Award from the American Council on Education.

ABC News on Campus reported on SU sophomore Sam Morrison and his intent to do a back flip every day.

The Post-Standard covered the University Lecture yesterday evening by environmental photographer James Balog.

The Post-Standard reported on the Newhouse School lecture by Daniel Ellsberg, who released the Pentagon Papers.

Syracuse University College of Law Professor Paula Johnson is mentioned in the Post-Standard for her participation in a local program this week that is designed to engage participants about the barriers to justice women face globally and in the United States.

School of Information Studies (iSchool) Professor Milton Mueller is quoted in a Time magazine “Techland” article about political pressure for limitations on new Internet top-level domain names.

John Palmer, University Professor and former dean in the Maxwell School, is highlighted in The Atlantic for his perspective on costs associated with baby boomers’ pensions and health care benefits.

Jeffrey Stonecash, professor of political science in the Maxwell School and College of Arts and Sciences, is quoted in Bloomberg on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s selection of Joseph Bress to assist with union negotiations.

David Cay Johnston, distinguished visiting lecturer in the College of Law, published a column in Madison.com on the public’s understanding of tax policy.

Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, is quoted on actor Charlie Sheen in a CNBC article. He is also quoted in the Louisville Courier-Journal on how people behave in the television spotlight.
