Dabble in Scrabble for Literacy
Calling all Scrabble fans and fanatics: the first annual SU Scrabble tournament will take place on Thursday, Feb. 10, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in Schine 304. The tournament is open to all faculty, staff and students. Registration is $10 per person or $30 for teams of four. Register by calling the Mary Ann Shaw Center for Public and Community Service at 315-443-3051 or by emailing email@example.com . Deadline to register is Friday, Feb. 4. All proceeds go to First Book, a national nonprofit that has placed 70 million books in the hands of children who need them most.
