An article on songs of African American women composers, co-authored by Eileen Strempel, assistant vice president for academic advancement in Enrollment Management and associate professor of fine arts in The College of Arts and Sciences, appeared in the January/February 2011 edition of the Journal of Singing. In the same issue, Strempel’s Atwood Project CD, “(In) Habitation,” an album of musical settings of Margaret Atwood poetry, was reviewed.
