The Department of Earth Sciences presents the fall 2010 K. Douglas Nelson Lecture Series, this week featuring Galen Halverson from McGill University. His lecture is titled “Tales from the Neoproterozoic: From
a Tilting Earth to the Origin of Animals” The lecture will be on Thursday, Nov. 18, at 4 p.m. in 113 Heroy Geology Lab; refreshments will be served.
