SA elections held next week
The Syracuse University Student Association will be holding its annual elections for president, comptroller and Assembly representatives Nov. 8-11 on MySlice.
The SA president acts as a primary resource for students and campus organizations. He or she is in regular communication with University administration and is a representative of student concerns. The comptroller leads the Finance Board and is responsible for allocating the $2 million Student Activity Fee. Assembly members represent the students of his or her home college and work to address the specific concerns of each college.
“Voting is the easiest way for students to have a say in how the Student Activity Fee, the students’ money, is spent,” says Jon Barnhart, SA president. “Make your voice heard and vote.”
Each student will have a link on their MySlice account to the voting page. Voting begins at 12:01 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8, and ends at 11:59
p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11.
