Speaking at a conference in Dublin, Vincent Tinto, distinguished professor in the School of Education, is quoted in an Irish Examiner article on college dropouts and retention of college students more actively involved in learning.
Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the Newhouse School, commented for a Bloomberg Businessweek (view video clip) cable segment and radio report on late night comedy, Conan O’Brien and Jon Stewart. Thompson is also quoted in Toronto Star and Politico stories about satire and the Stewart and Stephen Colbert rallies in to be held in Washington, D.C., and elsewhere this weekend.
