Research on “Neuroimaging of Love” by Stephanie Ortigue, assistant professor of psychology in The College of Arts and Sciences, was noted in a KFSN-TV (Fresno, Calif.) news report (watch video clip). Ortigue’s findings are also briefly reported by national and international media and blog postings including Discovery News and the Los Angeles Times; the United Kingdom’s Sun, Metro and Telegraph; the Globe and Mail in Toronto, Canada; and Psych Central and Gather.com.

A Central New York Business Journal report on the move of Haledyne to Syracuse notes Syracuse University as a research partner of the clean-air technology manufacturer. The SyracuseCoE is also mentioned in the report. Haledyne makes devices that will destroy airborne germs in health care facilities.

Wednesday’s launch of the breast cancer survivors photography project, “Look Now: Facing Breast Cancer,” led by Tula Goenka, associate professor of television-radio-film at the S.I.
